Ingredients
  

  • 1 oz grenadine
  • 1 oz pineapple juice
  • 1 oz light rum
  • 1 oz blue curaçao
  • 1 oz orange juice
  • 1 oz dark rum
  • Dash of overproof rum optional
  • Crushed ice
  • Lime wedge and maraschino cherry for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Fill a tall glass halfway with crushed ice to ensure proper layering.
  • Pour 1 oz of grenadine into the glass. Let it settle at the bottom to form the bold red base.
  • In a shaker, combine 1 oz pineapple juice, 1 oz light rum, and 1 oz orange juice. Shake well.
  • Slowly pour this mixture over the back of a spoon to create a distinct yellow layer.
  • Mix 1 oz blue curaçao with 1 oz pineapple juice in a shaker. Shake to combine.
  • Using the same back-of-the-spoon technique, pour this mixture gently over the yellow layer. The green layer will form as the blue curaçao and pineapple juice mix.
  • Carefully float 1 oz dark rum over the top layer by pouring it over a spoon. For an extra kick, add a dash of overproof rum.
  • Finish the cocktail with a lime wedge and a maraschino cherry for a festive touch.
