- 1 oz pineapple juice
- 1 oz light rum
- 1 oz blue curaçao
- 1 oz orange juice
- 1 oz dark rum
- Dash of overproof rum optional
- Crushed ice
- Lime wedge and maraschino cherry for garnish
Fill a tall glass halfway with crushed ice to ensure proper layering.
Pour 1 oz of grenadine into the glass. Let it settle at the bottom to form the bold red base.
In a shaker, combine 1 oz pineapple juice, 1 oz light rum, and 1 oz orange juice. Shake well.
Slowly pour this mixture over the back of a spoon to create a distinct yellow layer.
Mix 1 oz blue curaçao with 1 oz pineapple juice in a shaker. Shake to combine.
Using the same back-of-the-spoon technique, pour this mixture gently over the yellow layer. The green layer will form as the blue curaçao and pineapple juice mix.
Carefully float 1 oz dark rum over the top layer by pouring it over a spoon. For an extra kick, add a dash of overproof rum.
