Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup cold brew coffee
  • 2 oz bourbon
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar syrup
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup milk or cream optional
  • Ice enough to fill the glass
  • Whipped cream cinnamon, or brown sugar (optional, for garnish)

Instructions
 

  • In a small saucepan, combine 1/2 cup brown sugar and 1/2 cup water.
  • Heat over medium-low heat, stirring occasionally, until the sugar dissolves.
  • Let the syrup cool and store it in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
  • Fill a tall glass with ice, leaving room for all the ingredients.
  • Pour 1 cup cold brew coffee into the ice-filled glass.
  • Add 2 oz bourbon, 2 tbsp brown sugar syrup, and 1/4 tsp vanilla extract to the cold brew.
  • Stir gently to combine.
  • For a creamier drink, pour in 1/4 cup milk or cream and stir again.
  • Top with whipped cream, a sprinkle of cinnamon, or brown sugar if desired.
  • Serve immediately with a straw.
