Ingredients

  • 2 oz French vanilla vodka
  • 1 oz coffee liqueur e.g., Kahlúa
  • 1 oz freshly brewed espresso cooled
  • 1 scoop vanilla ice cream
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • Ice cubes
  • Coffee beans chocolate shavings, or caramel drizzle (optional garnishes)

Instructions

  • Place a martini glass in the freezer for 5–10 minutes to ensure your cocktail stays icy cold.
  • Brew 1 oz of fresh espresso and allow it to cool for about 10 minutes.
  • If you’re short on time, place it in the fridge for faster cooling.
  • In a cocktail shaker, combine: 2 oz French vanilla vodka, 1 oz coffee liqueur, 1 oz cooled espresso, 1 scoop vanilla ice cream, 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • Fill the shaker with ice cubes.
  • Seal tightly and shake vigorously for 15–20 seconds. This chills the mixture and creates a frothy texture.
  • Take the chilled glass from the freezer. Using a cocktail strainer, pour the mixture into the glass, ensuring a smooth, creamy finish.
  • Add 3 coffee beans for a classic touch. Sprinkle chocolate shavings or drizzle caramel on top for extra flair and flavor.
  • Sip, savor, and enjoy this decadent cocktail.

Notes

Tip: For the best flavor, use high-quality vanilla ice cream and freshly brewed espresso. Adjust sweetness and coffee intensity to your preference.
