Grapefruit Margarita Recipe

- 2 oz silver tequila
- 1 oz fresh grapefruit juice
- 1 oz fresh lime juice
- 1 oz triple sec
- ½ oz simple syrup
- Ice for shaking and serving
- Salt or sugar for rimming optional
- Grapefruit wedge or peel for garnish
Rub a lime wedge around the rim of your glass to moisten it.
Dip the rim into a plate of salt or sugar, coating evenly. Set the glass aside.
Squeeze fresh grapefruit and lime juices, straining to remove any pulp or seeds.
In a cocktail shaker, combine silver tequila, grapefruit juice, lime juice, triple sec, simple syrup, and a handful of ice.
Seal the shaker and shake vigorously for 15-20 seconds until the mixture is chilled and well combined.
Open the shaker and taste. Adjust sweetness with more simple syrup if needed
