  • 1 oz cream of coconut like Coco López
  • Freshly grated nutmeg for garnish
  • Crushed ice

Instructions

  • Place your serving glass (rocks glass or tiki mug) in the freezer or fill it with ice water to chill while you prepare the drink.
  • In a cocktail shaker, add: 2 oz dark rum, 4 oz pineapple juice, 1 oz orange juice, 1 oz cream of coconut
  • Tip: Add the cream of coconut last to avoid sticking to your tools.
  • Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously for 15–20 seconds until the mixture is well-chilled and slightly frothy.
  • Dump out any ice water from the glass, then fill it with crushed ice.
  • Strain the cocktail into the prepared glass over the crushed ice.
  • Alternatively, pour the mixture directly with the ice from the shaker for a frothier texture.
  • Sprinkle freshly grated nutmeg on top for a warm, aromatic finish. Add a pineapple wedge or orange slice for a decorative touch.
  • Sip immediately and let the tropical flavors transport you to paradise!
