Ingredients
  

  • 2 oz Vodka plain or vanilla-flavored
  • 1 oz Peppermint schnapps or peppermint-flavored liqueur
  • 1 oz White crème de cacao or chocolate liqueur
  • 1 oz Heavy cream or half-and-half optional
  • Ice Enough to fill a shaker halfway
  • Crushed candy canes for rimming the glass
  • Chocolate syrup optional, for decorative swirl
  • Whipped cream optional, for topping
  • Mini candy cane or peppermint stick for decoration

Instructions
 

  • Place crushed candy canes on a small plate.
  • Wet the rim of a chilled martini glass by dipping it in water or simple syrup.
  • Dip the rim into the crushed candy canes, ensuring it’s evenly coated.
  • (Optional) Swirl chocolate syrup inside the glass for decoration and place the glass in the freezer while preparing the drink.
  • Fill a cocktail shaker halfway with ice.
  • Add 2 ounces of vodka, 1 ounce of peppermint schnapps, 1 ounce of crème de cacao, and 1 ounce of heavy cream (if using).
  • Secure the lid and shake vigorously for 15-20 seconds until well-chilled.
  • Strain the chilled mixture into the prepared martini glass.
  • (Optional) Top with a dollop of whipped cream.
  • Sprinkle crushed candy canes or chocolate shavings on top of the whipped cream.
  • Add a mini candy cane or peppermint stick as a decorative stirrer.
