Place 3-4 candy canes in a resealable bag and crush them into small pieces using a rolling pin.
Pour the crushed candy onto a plate. Dip the rim of a martini glass in water or simple syrup, then press it into the candy to coat.
In a cocktail shaker, combine vodka, coffee liqueur, peppermint schnapps, and milk.
Add a handful of ice to the shaker to chill the mixture.
Secure the shaker lid and shake for 15-20 seconds until the ingredients are well mixed and chilled.
Strain the mixture into the prepared martini glass.
