- 2 oz vodka
- 3 oz pomegranate juice
- 1 oz rose syrup
- 4 oz ginger beer
- Ice enough to fill the mug
- Pomegranate seeds fresh mint, or a lime wedge (optional garnish)
- Sugar and a splash of pomegranate juice for the rim
Dip the rim of a copper mug into a shallow dish of pomegranate juice.
Press the rim into a plate of sugar to create a sugared edge.
Fill the copper mug with ice. Crushed ice works best, but regular ice cubes will do the job.
Measure and pour 2 ounces of vodka over the ice.
Pour in 3 ounces of pomegranate juice and 1 ounce of rose syrup.
Gently stir to combine the flavors.
Slowly add 4 ounces of ginger beer to avoid losing its fizz.
Add a few pomegranate seeds, a sprig of fresh mint, or a lime wedge for visual flair and extra flavor.
Serve immediately with a straw to keep the sugared rim intact.
