- 2 oz tequila blanco
- 2 oz freshly squeezed grapefruit juice
- 1 oz lime juice about 1 lime
- ½ oz agave syrup or simple syrup
- 2 oz club soda
- 1-2 slices of fresh jalapeño
- Salt for rimming the glass optional

Rim a tall glass with salt or a chili-salt blend for extra flavor. Rub a lime wedge along the rim, then dip the glass into a plate of salt. Set the glass aside.
In a cocktail shaker, add 1-2 slices of fresh jalapeño. Muddle gently to release the spicy oils. Adjust the quantity based on your desired spice level.
Add 2 oz tequila blanco, 2 oz freshly squeezed grapefruit juice, 1 oz lime juice, and ½ oz agave syrup to the shaker with the muddled jalapeño.
Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds to chill and combine.
Fill the prepared glass with ice. Strain the cocktail mixture into the glass to remove jalapeño seeds and pulp.
Add 2 oz of club soda to the glass. Stir gently to combine.
Garnish with a grapefruit wedge, a jalapeño slice, or both for a festive look.
Serve immediately and enjoy!
