- 1 cup fresh or frozen strawberries about 150g
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
- 1 bottle chilled Prosecco or sparkling wine 750ml
- Fresh strawberry slices or mint leaves optional garnish
Combine strawberries, sugar, and lemon juice in a blender. Blend until smooth.
For a seed-free puree, strain it through a fine-mesh sieve.
Refrigerate the strawberry puree for at least 30 minutes to keep the cocktail refreshingly cool.
Spoon 2-3 tablespoons of strawberry puree into the bottom of a champagne flute.
Slowly pour chilled Prosecco into the glass, holding it at an angle to preserve the bubbles.
Gently stir to combine the puree and Prosecco.
Add a fresh strawberry slice or a sprig of mint for garnish, if desired.
